>Finis & Paint Party Friday

22 Apr

>Finished postcard here – submission for Paint Party Friday – but I invite you to browse around through this week’s posts.  It’s been a rather prolific week for me artistically.  I chose this one because it will be leaving my cave tomorrow for its intended recipient.  A huge inspiration for me and the currents on which I am flying lately.  I hope they love it when it alights in their post box.

Watercolour postcard – pen/ink, acrylic, watercolour

    >This is so beautiful! I love your birds! I thought the original umbrella girl looked sort of sad and a bit tired? I've really enjoyed re-reading thru your poetry this week. I did post my favs, but it was after you had already tallied the 3 "winners." Guess I'm too slow : (

    >What a wonderfully creative week you've had so far!I really enjoyed reading your poems last week (I didn't cast a vote because I'm certainly not an expert – I just know what I like). "sprung.training" is one of my favorites… I also think "Memoriam (dust to dust)" is fabulous – I think the opening stanza is brilliant and I love your use of the word "greyhounded". (It definitely seems like more than a rough draft to me.) Thank you for sharing your poems with us. I'm sure the recipient of this postcard will love it!Have a wonderful weekend!
