>Taste the Rainbow

22 Mar

First panel in a series of living with HIV. That’s one of my actual pills bottles and the drugs that are supposed to make me “better” but only seem to make me more sick.

    >Wow! This one spoke to me. I often fantasize about smashing my pill bottles and I only have to take 3 rxs a day and several vitamin supps. for (imperfect)migraine prevention. I can't even imagine what you must go through.

    >Woah! This is a really cool concept. Pills, blood? anger? I like the 3-d aspect…and the red paint splatters…hmmm? this must have a story….do share

    >Fantastic textural peace. Isn't it sad that so many of the medications that are supposed to help make you end up feeling worse than the ailment itself?

    >So powerful and emotional…the reality of living with uncertainty. I just did a show with women who have HIV and it was very moving to hear their stories, how their lives changed completely after that one moment of being told they have HIV. Art is great therapy, and I hope it helps you to heal physically, emotionally, and spiritually…Life goes on with or without HIV, and you are brave and strong regardless. Wishing you continued inspiration and vitality 🙂
