>In Arms

4 Jan

>

You raise me up
Carry me
to places
my broken wings
can no longer fly

Dance with me
as I learn
it’s the music
not the steps
feed the soul
and give me

life
death
and the truths
I’d forgotten
to lie about

This is one of the quickest I have ever written.  I saw the image, the words fell out.  There you have it.  No fussing.  No editing.  Just there.  Wham.  Bam.  Thank you, ma’am.  Not too bad for no effort if I do say so myself.

    >A stunning piece of poetry exploring the enigmatic layers of a special kind of adoring infatuation…slightly bristled with skepticism.
