“Maybe it’s time to wave good-bye now,” Tori said.
And he knew she was right. He’d come this far. But his feet hurt… His shoes were worn through… His clothes were in rags… He needed rest.
Looking back at all the places he had been in the last year, he was amazed at how far this path had carried him. It had been a long and winding road.
He kicked off his shoes as she bid him farewell.
“If you need me,” she said, “Me and Neil’ll be hangin’ out with the dream king.”
And with that the journey ended.
