>crazy bitch

15 Sep

crazy bitch
laughing at the broken pieces
and throwing the super glue
out the window
giving yourself
straight jacket hugs
to the tune of
ambulance yowls and Tori Amos
coffee runs in circles
an insomniatic dance
telling 4 a.m. all your secrets
in crayons and construction paper
nowhere left to turn
no salvation; no solution
no redemption
nowhere left to go
so you just go crazy,

    >Best thing I've read today."to the tune of ambulance yowls and Tori Amos"That's a brilliant line.I think it resonates so strongly with me because there is some mental illness in my family.Just a great poem…

    >Very sharp. Oh, and I do love to tell my secrets in crayons…but most of the time it's in watercolor.

    >"telling 4 a.m. all your secretsin crayons and construction paper"This resonates with me because no matter how tired I am, during those hours I always become strangely lucid and vulnerable.
